Out Of Office (Therefore)

This article is an explanation on how the Out Of Office Feature within Therefore:

Features of Out Of Office:
  1. Delegating tasks to users when they're out of the office.
  2.  Allows the user to inherit workflow tasks from another user within a instant.
  3. Approve and Refuse Workflow status.
  4. Easy to set up.

Guide on how to set Out Of Office:

  1. Opening the Therefore Navigator:
 

      2. Finding "Out Of Office"

Click the "File" Button on the navigation pane > "Info" > Out Of Office 

 















      3. Out of Office Settings:


As can be seen in the image above you will now be presented with the follow box known as the Out Of Office Settings which do the following:
  1. (Purple) This shows the list of users of which "Out Of Office" has been set for. As can be seen this is indicated with a Yes and No option. This is very useful to see who has been delegated other users jobs when that user is on holiday for example. "User" is the user of which the jobs need to be taken from, "Delegate" is the account that would receive the Instances from the User that is out of office.
  2. (Green) This is the Add button, This is where the user can pick which account will receive jobs. The user will need to type the users name into the "search for" e.g. James Smart and then click the user which will then highlight in blue and then click Okay. (Please not if the user doesn't show please check the "Domain & Object Type")


  1. (Red) Change button, very similar to the add button this will allow the user to change which user will be assigned tasks from the account applying Out of Office.
  2. (Blue) This is a delete button that will allow the user to stop there out of office going to a specified account (Please note that if the user works within the same department then you should just "Deactivate" the user which will save you from adding that Out of Office multiple times)
