The Install Process

  1. When prompted if you would like to let the application make changes to the computer, select Yes.
    1. Please note that in some cases, you may need credentials entering from a user who is an administrator - this is usually your IT department.
    2. Multiple prompts may pop up when running the install. After ensuring these are for IRIS, confirm these.
  2. When the installer has been launched, select the "Client Installation" option and then the Next arrow

  1. Review the EULA an accept this when ready

  1. On the next page, click "Unselect All" and then tick the box for "IRISXtract for Documents Verify" and then click the Next arrow

  1. On the next page, enter the server name of the IRIS server and also the password for the "xtract_agent" account and click the Next arrow
    1. Your IT may have this password on record or you may be able to ask Spectrum for this.

  1. The installer will now begin the installation process, all you need to do is wait for this to complete.
  2. You may be prompted to restart during the installation process, please do this

  1. Once rebooted, the IRIS install will continue
  2. Once completed, press the Next arrow on the rest of the install pages

  1. When opening Verify, first open Verify Admin
  2. Untick any queues which are not needed. In most cases, you will only need Verify 1
  3. Highlight Verify 1 and press OK

  1. Verify will now open into the queue you had selected when you pressed OK.
In order for this to allow the user to open Verify, the name of the users PC will need to be registered in the Cockpit and in any relevant user groups. Your IT team may already know how to do this but if not, feel free to let us know if you require any assistance at support@spectrum.tech.
