Installing the Abbyy Flexicapture Client

The Install Process

1. Navigate to the folder where the Flexicapture installer is stored. If you also have Therefore as part of the solution, this may be stored within \\{SERVER_NAME}\Therefore$. However if this is not the case, your IT may know the location of this. Alternatively, you can contact support@itspectrum.co.uk and we will be happy to point you in the right direction or provide the install file
   
2. Once you have located this, right-click the file and select "Mount"
   

      

1. Once this has been mounted, double click "Autorun.exe"
   

1. Once the installer is open, select "1. Distributed Installation"
   

1. On the next page, select "3. Install Workstations"
   

1. Accept any prompts you receive when starting the install
   
1. Select your language
   
1. In most cases this will be English
   

1. Accept the End-User License Agreement

1. Enter the user's Username and Organisation
   

1. Deselect all Stations except from "Verification Station"

1. Enter the IP address of the Flexicapture server
   

1. Select Install

1. This will then run through the installation process
   
1. Accept any prompts for Flexicapture that pop up during the installation
   
2. Once the install is complete, you can then select "Finish"
   

1. Once this is installed, open the Verification station
   
2. If your project is not already showing, select "Browse from server..."
   

1. Ensure the Flexicapture Server is in the URL box

1. Select your Project from the list and select OK

1. Select your Verification Role (if you have multiple)
