Installing ABBYY FlexiCapture Cloud
Introduction
You may find yourself needing to install ABBYY FlexiCapture Cloud. This might be because a new user will be processing invoices through your FlexiCapture system or amending supplier training batches and layouts. Please find below a comprehensive guide.
Getting the Installer
- Navigate to: https://www.abbyy.com/flexicapture-downloads/cloud/.
- Download the 'FlexiCapture Distributed' installer.
- Mount the downloaded .ISO file.
- Navigate to the mounted drive.
- Start 'Autorun.exe'.
- Select '1. Distributed Installation'.
Installing Verification Station
- Select '6. Install Remote Verification Station'.
- Select 'OK' to confirm the language as 'English'.
- Accept the terms in the license agreement.
- Select 'Next'.
- Clear the 'username' and 'organisation' fields.
- Select 'Next'.
- Select 'Next'.
- Select 'Install'.
- Select 'Finish'.
Installing Project Setup Station
Do you need to update training batches? In this case, you'll need an additional application. The below guide follows on from 'Getting the Installer'.
- Select '3. Install Workstations'.
- Select 'OK' to confirm the language as 'English'.
- Accept the terms in the license agreement.
- Select 'Next'.
- Clear the 'username' and 'organisation' fields.
- Select 'Next'.
- Unselect all components.
- Select the following components:
- Project Setup Station
- Select 'Next'.
- Enter the address for your protection server (contact Spectrum if unsure).
- Select 'Next'.
- Select 'Install'.
- Select 'Finish'.
Installing NLP Components (for SOP customers)
Does your project with Spectrum include the processing of Sales Orders? In this case, you'll need an additional feature to ensure everything works as expected. The below guide follows on from 'Getting the Installer'.
- Select 'Install NLP Component'.
- Select 'Install ABBYY NLP Components'.
- Accept the terms in the license agreement.
- Confirm you have read and understood the privacy policy.
- Select 'Next'.
- Select 'Install'.
- Select 'Close'.
- Close the installer.
Connectivity Configuration
- Open the 'Verification Station' via the start menu.
- Select the image of the folder with a world inside it to open a project from the server.
- Input the URL and tenant name:
- URL: https://europe.flexicapture.com
- Tenant: <TenantName> (contact Spectrum if unsure)
- Click 'Connection Settings'.
- Select the relevant settings (contact Spectrum if unsure).
- Click 'OK' twice, then open the relevant project.
Additional privileges are required to access the 'Project Setup Station'. This should be discussed with Spectrum.
