Importing & Exporting Documents with Abbyy Flexicapture (Standalone Edition)

Importing/Export Documents With Abbyy Flexicapture

This guide will provide brief instruction on how to import documents to be checked in the Flexicapture system. There will also be instruction on how to export these files once their information has been confirmed and completed where necessary.

Importing Documents

1. Open Abbyy Administrator Station or Verification Station
      a. This can vary depending on your Flexicapture edition


2. Click the arrow next to "Load images" and select the documents you wish to import. This will import any documents waiting in a folder to be picked up.
Please be sure to carry this out regularly to ensure all documents are imported.



Exporting Documents

1. When you have chosen which documents to import, it will bring you to a list of documents for that document type

2. If the documents are ready to export, select the ones you wish to export and press "Export". If all documents are ready to export, press Ctrl + A to seect them all and then choose "Export".
      a. Documents can only be exported once they have been verified correctly. Please check any fields for errors before attempting to export these.


This will then export the documents to the relevant folders for Therefore or other document management system to pick up and index. If you do find your are missing some documents, please ensure you have gone through this process for all document types you have to process.
