Configuring Scan to Folder
Find the folder you wish to scan to on the network (\\[SERVER]\[FOLDER]) and copy this folder path
Open the Canon Interface from your web browser - this can be found by entering the IP address of the device
When prompted with a login page, enter 4877 in both of the boxes
When logged in, go to ‘Address Book’ and select one from the list.
In here, select ‘Register New Destination’
Change the Type to ‘File as shown below and then press ‘Set’
Enter the username and password you got from Simon (or the new password if you had to change this) and press ‘OK’ at the top right
Test the destination works and the scan reach the folder. If this works, repeat the same process for the rest of the destinations
Updating a Destination's Password
- Follow instructions up to getting to the relevant address list and select the destination which you want to update the password for
- At the top right, click edit and then click ‘Settings’ which will take you to the page with Username and Password. Note: You will need to tick the ‘Change Password’ box in order to update the password.
