Adding Users to Groups In Therefore

Adding users into Groups

This guide will show you how to add users into specific groups in Therefore. The users will first need to be added into the domain group "Therefore Users" in order for them to be able to access Therefore.

When the user is not in the User List

  1. Log onto the Therefore server
    1. Your IT may know this or you can contact ourselves for this information
  2. Log into the server with an account that has admin access to Therefore
  3. Open the Therefore Solution designed and Navigate to Groups


  1. Open one of the relevant groups by double clicking this


  1. Click the "Add" button


  1. Search for the relevant user in the list and double click them to add them to the "Select" section
    1. Please ensure that the "Domain" is set to your domain and not <THEREFORE> unless your system is Therefore Online (Cloud)


  1. Once the user is in the "Select" section, click OK


  1. You will now see the user in the relevant groups - Click OK


  1. Repeat this process for the rest of the groups the user is required for

If the user is in the user list

  1. Log onto the Therefore server

  2. Log into the server with an account that has admin access to Therefore
  3. Open the Therefore Solution designed and Navigate to Users


  1. Double Click the relevant user in the list


  1. Once the user properties have opened, click "Add"


  1. Search for the relevant groups you want to add the user to and double click them to add them to the "Select" section and then click OK
    1. Please ensure that the "Domain" is set to your domain and not <THEREFORE>, unless your system is Therefore Online (Cloud)


  1. Once you have added the user to the relevant groups, click OK to apply these changes
