Adding Users in Flexicapture (Distributed)

How to add users in Flexicapture

This guide will run through the process on creating new users in the Flexicapture system and give them the relevant permissions to access the system.

Importing Users

To import users into Flexicapture, follow the below process:
  1. Open the Administration and Monitoring Console and login with your Windows Credentials (the same to log into your PC)
    1. The URL for this is http://<server name>/FlexiCapture12/Monitoring/


  1. Once logged in, navigate to "Settings" across the top the page

  1. Select "Users"

  1. Select "IMPORT..."

  1. Select "FIND" at the bottom right

  1. Search for the user you wish to import, tick the box next to their name and click "IMPORT"

  1. Find the user in the user list and click on their username
  2. Add the users to the relevant groups by selecting "Add" next to "Belong to groups" and press SAVE
    1. Or you can give the user permissions individually by selecting "Verification Operator" (or other) and ticking the project in question

  1. Once this has been done, the user should now be able to access the relevant projects
